drew on the pad, and drew another patient, a little boy, with a cut on his arm. you have to stitch him up and stuff. still working on other aspects of our game. we dont really know whos going to do our codes, but we will figure it out

i refilmed our paper proto on ameteur surgeon academy. we talked about how we were gonna set up our new game, and talked about who was work on the coding. we worked on some organization stuff and where and how our slides will be set up.

we have decided to try another game idea, that would be more simple. our other game was be just a little too complicated and we probably wouldnt have got done in the designated time. even though it was a great idea. we are going with Ameteur Surgeon Academy. a game about surgery and what you need to do keep the patient alive. its going quite well so far, weve got good ideas for it.

today i mostly drew on flash and tried to think of more characters for our game. i drew a mysterious looking character for a possible setting in the game. so i basically just kinda messed around with flash today. thats pretty much all i did today.

today we watched a video about buttons on flash. which was kinda of a waste cause im pretty sure we know what they are. i cant really remember how to upload a new avatar, but im sure it will come to me sooner or later. some of us are using drawing pads to draw some characters for our game, however me and jordan are mouse-drawing again. ill try to figure out a new character or some type of setting today.

its friday, and most of the computers are down, aries has been working on them. so were working on our characters for our game, ours have been relatively easy because we are using an overhead look on the characters. we really only have a couple of characters to draw anyway. so today shouldnt be that bad.

its wednesday and we flipped the room, globaloria is now at the back of the room. not too sure what were going to start on today, but i suppose we will find out soon. we still have a long way to go with our game, but im not quite sure what else we have to finish. i guess we are going to learn more about drawing in flash and working on that sort of thing.

we're supposed to write 3 paragraphs in our blogs today, and i really dont have three paragraphs worth of things to blog about. our game is going well i guess, nothing much has changed. jordan and matt werent here friday, so i didnt really do anything then. warfield hasnt been here in a while (plus i wasnt at school yesterday).
we had a three day weekend because of martin luther king day, and i wasnt here yesterday, so ive had a nice break. all the snow is pretty much gone, we had high temperatures this past weekend, it got up into the 50s which is nice. ive had a substitute in globaloria and drafting the past 3 days, i hate that.
im not too sure what different things we've changed in our game. we havent had much time too change a whole lot. when jordan gets back we will prolly make some changes and work more on our game. our game seems a little complicated to me, but these guys are on a whole different level than me.

so were starting something new today apparently, warfield has moved the globaloria people to the front of the room, and i think we will be getting with our group soon to discuss something, im not totally sure what were doing exactly today though. i have been having alot of trouble getting back into the rythm of school early in the morning. it sucks.

we had a 3 week break and it was too short, i just finished a survey on basically my career path, im not too sure what im going to do yet, so i wasnt really sure what to put. were on a two hour delay schedule today and we dont have much more time left in this class. so im going to end this post now.

its greenbrier day today and we might have a guest speaker come to our class, we also have to upload our game to the wiki. apparently thursday is a club day and our class wont be as long, so we wont get much done this week, but i will still be blogging.

its friday, and were on a two hour delay schedule, its been a fun day, we really havent done anything in most of our classes, me, matt, and jordan presented our game wednesday, it went well, matt talked and i stood there and watched, jordan hasd to leave early. im not sure what we're doing today, but we probably wont get much done.

today we're finishing up our paper proto, and then we will be filming, we havent discussed in what order our video game is being set up yet. Jordan made some mini games inside our main game, he did a good job thinking them up. i havent finished my credit screen ive been working on yet, but ill work on it soon.

its monday, and were blogging 3 times this week. were still working on our game, Social Survivor, its going really well. im not sure what it is were doing today, but i think we will continue with the paper proto.

we're working on our design and how we are setting up our game, jordan drew a really good picture of one of the characters in our game, its running smoothly so far. i guess we will be drawing more of what we want our game to look like today. plus ive got my two blogging days out of the way at the beginning of the class, so i should have time for other stuff. thats it for this week

i got switched from the "ultimate avengers" to the "testosterone hurt patrol". I think this will benefit me because i know some of the guys better than the last team. jordan is working on a logo, and it is looking really good. so its thanksgiving break and im headed to the beach. so i plan on doing no blogging whatsoever. i added a new flash project with the formation of different shapes, it wouldnt be that incredible any other day, but its exciting for me because its my first one, that doesnt suck. im finally understanding this stuff.

well im in globaloria class today, leaving in about 30 minutes, so i wont have much time to do much today, so i figured id go ahead and get my blogging done for today. since i blogged twice this week already, i wont have to worry about blogging on friday and i could help out more with my project. our team still isnt completely sure what were doing yet, but im open for any ideas. well thats it for this week.

so i havent been blogging at all in the past few weeks, and now its mandatory to do it twice every week. in class today we were split into groups, my team isnt bad, im sure we will do well, even though i dont know them. our team name is the Ultimate Avengers, i think its a B.A. name. im having trouble understanding this class, but im sure ill get it eventually. be back with some more posts soon.

Ive been asked to play 2 or 3 games to come up with inspiration and ideas for my game.
the first game i played is "Katrina: Tempest in Crescent City", this game was pretty fun, but it was very short, and it is a little too simple, but it was fun to help hurricane victims.
my second game "Pick 12" wasnt very much fun at all, i didnt like the way they made the characters look, it was too sketchy, i also didnt like how when you picked all 12 of your jurors, you had too put some back into the pool and pick others.
my third game "3rd world farmer" was pretty fun and educational, good design, some people would enjoy to play this game.
